Zoom call between Yin in Illinois and Kyle in Rhode Island
…continues to feature small works displayed within tight physical and time parameters. During this installment, however, an additional constraint is in place, the pandemic. Kyle and Yin present works in two separate spaces connected through zoom call, splitting the body of work between two showers. The artists continue to use motifs of animals and objects to explore ideas of iteration and assemblage. Small drawings and paintings, as well as small clay and beaded objects traveled back and forth through the mail between the two artists throughout the three months of lock down, and culminated in a brief final presentation that took place in the showers within the separate homes of the two artists.
