installment 1

in collaboration with kyle canyon

With With Two To, March 12, 2020
25 W 13 Street, 3rd Floor, Southeast corner

With With Two To features small works depicting animals, objects, and athletic activities in an ephemeral presentation. This broad arrangement of visual subject matter plays with concepts of togetherness, sameness, individual identity, and personal psychological responses to external environments. These ideas are also considered when choosing the site for installation, where there is an awareness of how your body moves to engage with the work. In this first installment, a small corner space tucked behind an elevator was selected as the site for the exhibition. Yin and Kyle use methods of print, painting, and sculpture to display a collection of objects through co-curation within tight physical perimeters and in short time frames.
